Task: Write your thoughts about the vegetarian dishes?

What were your thoughts prior to eating?
1. When we made the Frattini I thought that it would taste disgusting and look gross.
2. When we made the nachos I had gotten told by other classes that it was gross so I assumed it was gross.

Did thoughts change once you had sampled it?
1. Well, when we were making the Frattini it looks yummy but when it came to cooking it we had failed and it was undercook so I didn't have any.
2. When me and my group made nachos it was actually yum compared to what I thought it would taste like from what people had said.

Why is it good to have one vegetarian dish per week in your diet?
You'll get more minerals, Nutrients and fibre in your diet.

Meat supply us with protein and iron give an example of a vegetable that offers protein and iron?
Green vegetables are high sources of iron such as Silver beat, Cabbage, Lettuce, Spinage and peas.
Eggs are also a good source of protein.

Music task

Music task- Write a couple of sentence about Te Matatini

Te Matatini is a cultural festival and an event for Maori performing arts. Held every two years, it is one of the most highly considered events for Kapa haka performers. Its also hosted in a different city every 2nd year. Everyone is welcomed to watch.

To write a SEEL paragraph about characteristics of dictators.

(S) I think that some of the characteristics that dictators have are Powerful, Born to be a leader, Manipulate and are really intelligent.(E)How? well because to be a dictator you need to be able to outsmart people so manipulate them, you also need power against people.(E)This is because they want everyone to believe them they want people to be scared of them they want everyone to notice them(L) These are what most dictators are capable of.

 As I started to look into a window seeing my wrinkles on my face. Remembering what the world was like when I was younger, It was calm and nobody was hurt emotionally and physically. As I started to cry. Disgusting people throwing rubbish at me like it was nothing. I realised that at this time things won't change nor will people my last wish was hoping that people will get somewhere in the world in time.

Explanation about the picture?
This Diagram besides us is about how the glucose is affected over time. The glycemic index is a value assigned to foods based on how slowly or how quickly those foods cause increases in blood glucose levels. The rise in blood glucose levels is determined by the number of carbohydrates.

Science Experiment

The Dropping Pins Experiment

Aim: To observe conduction along a metal rod.

Equipment: A metal rod, Retort stand and clamp, bunsen burner, petroleum jelly, 5-10 drawing pins, a stopwatch.

Method:
1. Set up and light a bunsen burner.
2. Smear a small amount of petroleum jelly on to the head of each drawing pin.
3. Attach the drawing pins at even intervals along the length of the metal rod.
4. Clamp one end of the metal rod to a retort stand.
5. Position the retort stand so the unclamped end of the metal rod is in the Bunsen flame and start the stopwatch.
6. Record the time it takes for each pin to drop in the table below.

Observations: I watched as the pins starting falling slower and slower.

Explanation:The heat from the bunsen burner transfers the heat down the metal rod making the particals Vibrating.
